Using Thuderbird
To get Thunderbird to go through the tunneler please follow these steps.
Note: If you will be using port 25 or 465. please contact support@metropipe.net and we will send you a Tunneler that will work with those ports.
1. Go into Tools > Options
2. Make sure the General tab is selected.
3. Click on the Connection Settings button
4. Make sure that Manual Proxy Configuration is checked
5. It is hard to get Thunderbird to use anything but SOCKS. So we will be using that. Make sure it is set up to:
SOCKS: 127.0.0.1
Port: 8085
6. Press ok
Firebird will now be using the tunneler.
