Firefox Privacy bar

There are a two ways to Install.

1. Follow this Link to download:Click here

If the download does not start

If a Bar pops up on the top of the page click on the options button and say Allow

Or

please click on the Tools> Content tab> Extensions>

Put into the box

www.metropipe.net

Click allow

Now try to install

open it.

Then re-start firefox and you should see our new Privacy bar.

make sure that the tunneler is running, and set the bar to 'HighSpeed Http Proxy'.

now click on 'Check IP'.

if has a green triangle then you are protected!

if it keeps saying 'scanning' then its still not working. (Please contact support.)

2. The other way to Install is:

While running Firefox 1.5+, right click on the install button on our site, and say 'save as' and install directly to your desktop.

While Firefox is open go to File> Open File> Find the privacybar.xpi file from the location to which it was downloaded. (Desktop)

open it.

Then re-start firefox and you should see our new Privacy bar.

make sure that the tunneler is running, and set the bar to 'HighSpeed Http Proxy'.

now click on 'Check IP'.

if has a green triangle then you are protected!

if it keeps saying 'scanning' then its still not working. (Please contact support.) ---

Privacy Bar Options

The first option is the eraser. This option allows you to erase everything that could be a security risk. It is good to use this option on a regular basis.

The next option is the lock this will allow you do things like disable Images, Which will increase your browsing speed. Also this is a good way to disable Java, Flash, or even Cache.

The drop-down menu allows you to choose between many ways to browse the Internet. HTTP, SOCKS, TOR, JAP.

The last option is Check IP button. This will allow you to check if you are protected, and what your IP is at the time.
